Quest is a not-for-profit voluntary organization formed in 1996. It is located in Charleville Castle in Tullamore in Ireland. It operates through a growing web of partnerships, alliances and friends on a global scale. It is committed to the development of action-learning as a uniquely powerful way of advancing inter-cultural collaboration and teamwork. Difficult projects, projects which seem unachievable, can be tackled effectively through action-learning. Used superficially it can be as ineffective as any trendy management tool. Deployed effectively and in depth, it becomes more than a tool or method of action and learning, it forms an evolving and ever enriching culture focused on achievement through group action, learning and reflection. More than anything else this is what Quest is about.

Since 1996, Quest has been bringing together people from different backgrounds and cultures to develop action-learning skills, attitudes and knowledge. This has been done through a range of inter-university collaborations, communities and a wide range of collaborations with both public and private organizations. The results so far are more than promising, particularly in the area of people development and international understanding. A wide range of projects have been developed, from basic idea to completion, ranging from new social structures, to advanced product development. High levels of creativity have been achieved in conjunction with highly practical results. All of this through the medium of committed multi-disciplinary multi-cultural action-learning groups.

Quest Campus is not be a university in the sense of current universities, rather it is a distributed campus of many universities and creative enterprises committed, again, to sustainable progress through action-learning, on a global scale. Some examples of past inter-university activities can be browsed on our network site: www.quest-university.net. Alternatively you can contact us through our email at:info@quest-campus.com
